EPISODE 410: BRANDEN STEINECKERT

Branden Steineckert was a founding member of The Used and the driving force behind the band until the guitarist kicked him out for being sober in 2006. While that could crush a man, Branden dove onto wakesurfing for a couple of months and came out the other side as the drummer for Rancid, which has been his job for the past 18 years. While that’s worthy of its own podcast, we spend a lot of time talking about his heavy childhood in Utah and using skateboarding as an escape. On the podcast, we talk about Ken Block, Tony Hawk, music, his Ghost Pickleball brand, and much more.
